I ended up hand-sewing in the lining. I could not find magnetic snaps anywhere, so it has no closure. I used a dowel for the handles, though I wish I made them a teeny bit longer. I love it & hope that I actually use it. I especially like the fabric used for the lining. I made this about one cable longer than the one from the pattern
