cable blanket - in progress

I was searching high and low for a pattern for a cable baby blanket. I had something very specific in mind, and I found exactly what I was looking for in a Debbie Bliss book - Simply Baby. I have a good amount of time to finish this one so I know I'll end up doing projects in between. The pattern calls for a yarn that is much more expensive than what I'm using but I love the color of what I picked out.
