The bag is 14" wide x 14" high x 4" deep. The straps are 33-ish inches long. There are two very-roomy pockets that close with velcro. I'm going to make a smaller tote as well. I also made a matching zip pouch which is 7-1/2" wide x a little less than 5-1/2" high. I used this tutorial for the zip pouch, which is the only one so far that has helped me make a zip pouch that I like :)
When I was taking the pictures, I realized that I definitely have to re-do the bottom lining of the tote. terrible sewing. It will come together much nicer hand-sewn, most likely with some red thread. :(
